About me

Its always interesting to see who is the person behind a website. So here I would like to give you a little insight into my life!

I was born in the year 1987. Shortly after that, my interest in electronics grew due to my father's hobby.

At the age of 10 I got my first own computer, which I rather used for programming than for playing games. Over the years i learned more and more programming languages and so i started this homepage in 2001. During the development of many of my projects the internet was a great help for me. Again and again I collected other circuit examples and suggestions, and so I hope that also my page inspires other people to do some tinkering.

I graduated from junior high school in 2004 and then attended the technical secondary school. After two semesters of electrical engineering, which unfortunately did not work out as I had imagined, I completed an training as IT Specialist - Application Development in 2012. As such, I worked in the area of IT security, Linux backend until the end of 2019. Currently, I work as a Linux system administrator.

In my free time, I enjoy many hobbies. When I'm not soldering, fixing PCs, or browsing an electronics catalog, I might just be out with friends, or on tour with my DSLR camera. On weekends I also like to DJ at parties, if there is something to celebrate, because there is a lot of light and sound equipment in my basement. I prefer to listen to different electronic music genres like House, Handzup and Hardstyle, but also Classic- or Alternative-Rock, and everything else in between.
